Abstract: Cross-platform development is an important strategy to keep the efforts for mobile app creation low. Many programming frameworks exist but also model-driven approaches can help to achieve this goal. Using textual and graphical domain-specific languages, we are researching the benefits of model-driven approaches for cross-platform app development. While simplifying the creation of apps also for non-technical users, also more devices than just smartphones can be targeted.
