
Resumo: In this work, we investigate the solution of the model Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell and Segur (AKNS) using the Dressing transformation and its applicability in the solution of the Nonlinear Schr¨odinger (NLS) equation. The relevant aspect of the present work constitutes the construction of the shape of functions tau, which allow us to obtain solitonic solutions of the AKNS model and thereby, we can solve the NLS equation obtaining soliton solutions.
