Abstract: A distribution D on a projective space is given by a homogeneous polynomial differential p-form whose vanishing locus is Sing(D), the singular scheme of D. In this talk, we will explore the relationship between D and Sing(D). In particular, we will see how to use syzygies to construct distributions with a prescribed singular scheme.
