Atypical values of a polynomial function, or more generally of a definable func-
tion, are the values over which the function is not locally trivial. We recall
several criterions that characterize these atypical values, and give some rela-
tions with the integrals of Gauss and Lipschitz-Killing curvatures on the fibres
of the function. This is a joint work with Vincent Grandjean (UFC).
