Received a Master's degree on Computer Science from State University of São Paulo (ICMC/USP) in 2005. The dissertation was on requirements engineering of open source software, and was entitled "A collaborative Web tool to support the requirements engineering in free software". [pdf]

QualiPSo - QualiPSo intends to define and implement technologies, processes and policies to facilitate the development and use of Free Open Source software components, with the same level of trust traditionally offered by proprietary software. This will leverage the Free Open Source Software development current practices to sound, well recognised and established industrial operations.
Procad - Academic cooperation project between ICMC-USP, UEM and PUC-RS to integrate and improve research activities, teaching and training, and technology transfer in software testing and validation.
SAFE (Software Engineering Available for Everyone) - The SAFE project aims the elaboration of a software development framework sufficiently simple to attract the collaboration of free software's developers with different levels of software process's familiarity. This framework will help the automation of free software processes, through the integration of free software tools that support software engineering activities.

IDEIAS - a enteprise service bus (ESB) integration plataform for software development tools and activities. It uses Web Services (SOAP/HTTP) to integrate best of the breed software development tools (Eclipse, Subversion, Bugzilla, dotProject, vTiger). The ESB itself isn't ready, but the OpenID Server and patches to enable OpenID authentication into vTiger, DotProject and eZ Publish are available.
