Reconfigurable Computing Laboratory

Welcome!

The Reconfigurable Computing Laboratory (LCR), located at the University of São Paulo, is a traditional digital systems laboratory based on FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) in Brazil. The research started there in 1995, and was one of the first laboratories in Latin America to work with reconfigurable computing.

The subject of the research that is being developed in the LCR is mainly focused on embedded mobile robots. Nowadays, 16 graduate students have already concluded their theses related to this issue and 10 other graduate students are still working on ongoing projects. Moreover, LCR has also collaborated with the development of the Brazilian Digital Television System.
