Paper Submission

The IEEE instructions and template files for preparing papers are available (consider the two-column format) here.

Submit your paper by using our web interface.

Authors are expected to submit a paper in PDF format with 5-10 keywords following the IEEE CS format.
Program committee members and external reviewers will provide authors with at least three technical reviews. Submitted papers will be ranked based on relevance to the Conference and technical merit.
Final version of accepted papers should at most 8 pages and will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press as CSE-08 conference proceedings.
Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the IEEE Digital Library after the conference.
Selected best papers will be awarded and considered for a special issue of the International Journal of Computational Science and Engineering (IJCSE) and International Journal of High Performance Computing and Networking (IJHPCN).

The Workshop Proposal Instructions

Those workshops with more than 15 papers will be granted with a free complimentary registration and local accommodation for one leading workshop organizer

The organizers and chairs of the workshop shall have full control on the call for papers, forming of program committees, review and selection of papers as well as planning the workshop program. The chairs must state in the workshop CFP as "Submitting a paper to the workshop means that if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the workshop to present the paper. For no-show authors, their papers will be removed from the digital library after the conference and their affiliations will receive a notification." The registration fees for workshops will be determined by the conference (not the workshop itself). The fees will be paid to the conference, and the conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, the meeting room, coffee break, lunch, proceedings and etc. Any further expense of the workshop such as the financial aid to the invited speakers MUST be provided by the workshop itself upon getting some sponsors for their own workshops. The money from workshop sponsors will be received by the workshop itself.

Prospective workshop organizers should send a proposal containing the following information:

- Title of the workshop
- Objectives, scope, and contribution to the main conference
- Names and contacts of key organizers

Prior discussion of candidate workshop organizers and the workshop chair is encouraged.
We look forward to your stimulating proposals and contributions to CSE 2008 workshops.

All Workshop Proposals must be submited to cse08 @ icmc.usp.br under the subject "CSE-08 WORKSHOP PROPOSAL".
