Summary
Currently following the MSc program in Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) at the University of São Paulo (USP). BE in Computer Engineering from University of São Paulo (2009) and also conducted two undergraduate research projects in Image Processing at the ICMC-USP Databases and Images Group (GBdI) .
Research Interests
- Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR):
- CBIR is the application of computer vision to the image retrieval problem, making it possible for a system to receive a digital image as input and return an ordered set of the most relevant ones. My CBIR research includes the development of image signature extraction methods and similarities functions.
- Image Processing and Computer Vision:
- My research on Image Processing and Computer Vision focuses on image information extraction, including image segmentation methods and feature extraction algorithms.
